What if your science class turned into a Mars mission? That’s the idea behind Mission to Mars, one of our hands-on STEMscapes for curious kids.
Here’s how it works: you and two friends become astronauts stuck on Mars after your ship breaks down. The only way home is to solve two challenges that give you a secret code. First, you make oxygen gas to “breathe.” Then you build lights to uncover the last code word. Put them together, crack the sentence, open the treasure chest, and you’re safe.
We bring this pop-up adventure to schools, libraries, and community events. It works best in small teams, usually during STEM nights or weekend fairs. It’s quick, active, and kids walk away feeling like real scientists.
Why does it matter? Because kids remember what they do. When they mix things up, see bubbles form, and lights glow, science feels possible. It’s teamwork, curiosity, and problem-solving rolled into one story they’ll tell later.
Take a peek at our photo to see how the story starts. We keep it simple so kids jump in fast. No lectures, just an hour of experiments and fun.
If you’ve got a young astronaut at home, this is a great way to show them that science is more than books - it’s something they can touch, try, and share.
Ready to blast off?
