What Are the Requirements To Open A Club?
Organization
I have a host organization like a college, school, library, community center, or faith-based organization.
Access
I have access to internet and hardware like laptops, Chromebooks, or iPads.
Time
I have 2-6 hours to plan and host meetings & events each week. I can sustain this for the foreseeable future.
Background Check
I can pass the Youth for STEM Equity background check.
Commitment
I am dedicated to becoming an organization leader in my community and bring STEMscapes to classrooms.
To-Do
I am ready to undergo training and coordinate with Youth for STEM Equity's guidelines for a successful initiative.

The Ohio State University
The Ohio State Chapter of Youth for STEM Equity has become one of the organization’s most impactful and fast-growing chapters, empowering students to lead with purpose and innovation. Through hands-on experiences and leadership opportunities, members have strengthened their professional skills, built meaningful networks, and made a lasting impact on their community. Two of the chapter’s most successful initiatives include a collaborative STEM escape room at West High School, engaging local students in interactive learning, and a campus event with Bill Nye, inspiring thousands to explore the power of equitable, experiential STEM education.
